As a Best Carpet & Restoration customer, you automatically get access to our Rug Pad Club — that means custom-cut pads sized to your exact rug, free professional installation with delivery, expert guidance from our Rug Pad Specialist, and 10% off any separate service (rug cleaning, carpet cleaning, upholstery, etc.) for a full year. The 10% discount applies to future services — not the rug pad order itself. It's our way of making sure your freshly cleaned rug stays protected and rewarding you for choosing us.
What if my rug is an unusual shape or size?
No problem! Tap the ‘Custom’ button on any tier and text us your rug dimensions. Our specialist will provide a custom quote.
What about very large rugs (10x14 or bigger)?
For oversized rugs, we use a professional edge-to-edge joining technique — the same method used by high-end rug dealers and interior designers. The pad sections are precision-aligned and secured so they perform as a single piece. Once your rug is set in place, the join is completely invisible and you’ll never feel or notice it underfoot.
How long does it take?
Essential pads are typically ready within 1-2 business days. Standard, Premium, and large or custom-sized pads may take 4-6 business days. We'll coordinate delivery and installation with your cleaned rug whenever possible.
Can I add a pad after my rug is already delivered?
Absolutely. Just visit this page, place your order, and we'll schedule a separate installation at your convenience.
What's the difference between the three levels?
Each level includes everything from the one below it, plus more. Essential gives you non-slip grip, light cushioning, and a pet urine barrier. Standard upgrades to thicker 30 oz. cushioning with Green Label Plus air quality certification. Premium goes to our densest 34 oz. pad with non-toxic, non-allergenic materials for maximum comfort. If you have pets or want the most luxurious feel, Standard or Premium is the way to go.
What are the installation options?
Every pad comes with free Standard Install — our tech arrives, lays the pad, and places your rug. You just need to clear the area first. If you need help with furniture, choose Solo Assist ($69) and one technician will move light-to-moderate items like end tables and chairs. For heavy pieces — sectionals, bed frames, dining sets — our Full Service ($129) sends a two-man crew to handle everything. Breakables, electronics, and personal items should always be cleared by the customer beforehand.
